ABOUT SACRED HEART CYO

Sacred Heart is proud to participate in the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) of the Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens, a community dedicated to helping young people grow through faith, friendship, teamwork, and athletic competition.

CYO is more than a sports program—it is a community that brings together young people and families from diverse backgrounds around a shared commitment to faith, fair play, mutual respect, teamwork, and personal growth. Through athletics and other programs, CYO provides young people with opportunities to develop confidence, discipline, leadership, and a strong sense of community.

At Sacred Heart, we believe that participation in CYO is about more than winning and losing. Our goal is to create a positive environment where every athlete has the opportunity to learn, compete, build lasting friendships, and grow both on and off the field. We encourage our athletes to demonstrate good sportsmanship, respect their teammates and opponents, and represent Sacred Heart with pride.

Through CYO, Sacred Heart is committed to supporting the physical, personal, and spiritual development of our young people while strengthening the bonds among our parish, families, and community.
